What DNS records do I need to configure for EasyDMARC?

When it comes to email authentication DNS records, there are two types commonly used: TXT and CNAME records.
  • DMARC Record: For adding DMARC, you can use a TXT record. EasyDMARC provides a straightforward process to generate the necessary DMARC TXT record directly from the EasyDMARC portal
Alternatively, EasyDMARC offers a "Managed DMARC" solution where you can add DMARC using a CNAME record. This allows you to manage your DMARC record directly from the EasyDMARC portal, making it more convenient and streamlined.
  • SPF and DKIM Records: During the DMARC enforcement process, it is essential to update or add SPF and DKIM records. These records are provided by your email service providers (ESPs) and can be in either TXT or CNAME format, depending on their settings.
The specific instructions for adding and configuring these DNS records may vary depending on your Email Service Provider (ESP) that you use. It is recommended to refer to the documentation or support resources provided by your Email Service Provider (ESP) for detailed instructions on adding these DNS records correctly.

EasyDMARC offers guidance and assistance within its portal to help you understand and configure these DNS records accurately. This ensures smooth integration and effective email authentication for your domain.
