MS Dynamics 365 Integration Setup Guide
Microsoft Dynamics 365 is Microsoft's cloud-based CRM and ERP platform, with a marketing module (Customer Insights – Journeys) that lets businesses run email campaigns and customer journeys directly from their CRM data.
To integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 with EasyDMARC, please check the steps below:
This connection is set up by a Dynamics administrator. Because Dynamics is a CRM platform rather than a consumer email tool, the connection uses Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) rather than a simple login popup.
Prerequisites:
- You are a Global Administrator (or Dynamics 365 / Power Platform admin) in your Microsoft tenant.
- You use Customer Insights – Journeys (real-time marketing) to send email.
- You can reach the Power Platform admin center for the environment you want to monitor.
Step 1 — Initiate Connection
1. Log in to your EasyDMARC Dashboard.
2. Go to Integrations in the left menu.
3. Find the Microsoft Dynamics 365 card and click Connect.
Step 2 — Grant Access (Admin Consent)
1. EasyDMARC redirects you to Microsoft to sign in.
2. Review the requested permission (read access to your Dynamics organization data) and click Accept to grant admin consent for EasyDMARC's application in your tenant.
Step 3 — Provide Your Environment URL
1. Back in EasyDMARC, enter your Dynamics environment (org) URL, e.g. https://yourorg.crm.dynamics.com.
- Tip: You can find this in Power Apps → your environment → Settings → Developer resources → Web API endpoint.
Step 4 — Create the Application User (one-time)
1. Open the Power Platform admin center → select your environment → Settings → Users + permissions → Application users.
2. Click New app user, select the EasyDMARC app, set the business unit, and assign the EasyDMARC Read-Only security role (or any role granting read access to email/interaction tables).
3. Click Create.
Step 5 — Select Domains & Finish
1. EasyDMARC scans your environment for the sending domains in use and lists them.
2. Check the domains you want on your dashboard, then click Finish Setup.
- If a recently added domain doesn't appear, use Add Manually and type the domain.
Your Dynamics data will begin syncing. Note that Dynamics interaction data can carry up to a few hours of latency on Microsoft's side, so the first full sync may take longer than other ESPs
