Microsoft Teams Integration

Follow these simple steps to receive your EasyDMARC alerts and audit logs directly within your Microsoft Teams workspace. This integration helps you stay on top of your email security without leaving the application where you and your team collaborate.

Prerequisites:

Please ensure you are signed into Microsoft Teams and have the necessary permissions to add applications to the desired channel. In some organizations, an IT administrator may need to approve new applications before they can be used.

Step 1: Navigate to the Integrations Page

Log in to your EasyDMARC dashboard. In the main navigation menu, find and select the Integrations page.

Step 2: Connect to Microsoft Teams

On the Integrations page, you will see a list of available services. Find the Microsoft Teams card and click the Connect button.

Step 3: Authorize the EasyDMARC Application

You will be automatically redirected to a secure Microsoft sign-in page.

  1. Sign in using your Microsoft 365 work or school account.
  2. After signing in, Microsoft will show you a permission request screen. This screen lists the permissions that EasyDMARC needs to send notifications on your behalf. We only request the minimum permissions required for the integration to function correctly.
  3. Click Accept to grant permission and continue.

Step 4: Configure Your Notifications

After you accept, you will be automatically redirected back to your EasyDMARC dashboard. The Microsoft Teams integration card will now show that you are connected and will display new configuration options.

  1. From the Select a Team dropdown menu, choose the team you want to receive notifications in.
  2. From the Select a Channel dropdown menu, choose the specific channel within that team.
  3. Under the Notification Preferences section, ensure the boxes for Alerts and Audit Logs are checked.

Step 5: Save and Finish

Click the Save Configuration button. That's it! Your integration is now active. You will begin receiving real-time security alerts and account audit logs as they occur, delivered directly to your configured Teams channel.

Managing Your Integration

You can return to the Integrations page at any time to:

  • Change the target team or channel for your notifications.
  • Click the Disconnect button to stop all notifications and securely remove the connection to your Microsoft Teams account.
