Cloud DNS Integration Setup Guide
Step 1 — Enable API access in ClouDNS
1. Log in to your ClouDNS control panel.
2. Go to API settings (https://www.cloudns.net/api-settings/).
3. If API access isn't already on, click Enable API.
Step 2 — Create a scoped API sub-user (recommended)
Using a sub-user lets you control exactly what EasyDMARC can access and revoke it anytime.
1. In the API Sub-Users section, click Add new sub-user.
2. Set the limits and access:
○ DNS zones — the number of zones this sub-user can manage.
○ DNS records — the record limit for this sub-user.
○ Access level — choose Read and write to enable one-click remediation, or Read only to review records without changes.
○ IP address — leave blank to allow access from any IP. (If you restrict by IP, see Step 5.)
3. Click Save. ClouDNS generates a sub-auth-id (and sub-auth-user) plus a password. Keep these handy.
Prefer to use your main account? You can connect with your account's auth-id and auth-password instead. A scoped sub-user is safer and recommended for MSPs managing client zones.
Step 3 — Connect in EasyDMARC
1. In EasyDMARC, open Integrations.
2. Select ClouDNS.
3. Enter your credentials:
○ Auth ID — your sub-auth-id (or account auth-id).
○ Auth password — the matching password.
4. Click Connect. EasyDMARC verifies the credentials and imports your zones.
