Acronis Cyber Protect Integration With EasyDMARC

 

EasyDMARC is a cloud-based email authentication and protection platform that helps businesses of all sizes protect their email domains from phishing, spoofing, and other fraudulent activities. It is particularly well-suited for managed service providers (MSPs) who serve multiple clients.

Acronis Cyber Protect is an integrated backup, disaster recovery, cybersecurity, and endpoint management solution designed for managed service providers (MSPs). It is a single platform that MSPs can use to protect their clients' data and systems from a wide range of threats, including ransomware, malware, data loss, and physical disasters.

The integration between EasyDMARC and Acronis Cyber Protect provides many benefits, among many others, for MSPs such as:

  • Centralized visibility and control: Integrating EasyDMARC with Acronis Cyber Protect provides MSPs with a centralized view of their clients' email authentication and protection status. This centralized visibility enables MSPs to proactively identify and address potential issues before they can impact clients' businesses.
  • Enhanced threat protection: Integrating EasyDMARC with Acronis Cyber Protect strengthens the overall cybersecurity posture of MSP clients. EasyDMARC's advanced threat detection capabilities complement Acronis Cyber Protect's comprehensive protection against malware, ransomware, and other cyber threats.

 

To start using the integration of EasyDMARC and Acronis Cyber Protect you need to be our MSP Customer and use API Key to authenticate integration.

Integration data scope

After connecting your EasyDMARC MSP account with Acronis Cyber Protect console, based on our robust API integration, you will be able to view and interact with the following data in Acronis console:

  1. Customer name: based on your domains grouped into Domain Groups and names you set for these groups.
  2. Domain names.
  3. Type of the domain: Sending or Parked domain. 
  4. DMARC policy distribution among your domains.
  5. Verification status for your domains: verified or not verified.
  6. DNS record statues for DMARC, SPF, DKIM, BIMI, MTA-STS/TLS with statuses:
    1. Valid.
    2. Warning.
    3. No Record.
    4. Invalid.
  7. Managed services statues: Active or Not active for our managed tools:
    1. Managed DMARC
    2. EasySPF
    3. Managed BIMI
    4. Managed MTA-STS and TLS Reports
  8. Count of active and resolved Alerts for your domains from the last 7 days
  9. Data for email volume count from the last 7 days such as:
    1. Compliant volume
    2. Non-compliant volume
    3. Threats/Unknown volume
    4. Forwarded volume
  10. Additional interactive widgets that you can add to your Acronis main dashboard that will display data for:
    1. Active new Alerts 
    2. DMARC policy distribution

On top of the above you will be able to use redirect to access the EasyDMARC dashboard directly from the Acronis console. 

 

How to connect EasyDMARC account with Acronis Cyber Protect console

EasyDMARC API integration with Acronis Cyber Protect is free to use for all our MSP customers and we are also not restricting the scope of data available for you to see in Acronis Cyber Protect console. 

To start using the integration, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Acronis Cyber Protect console and go to Integrations page 
  2. Search for EasyDMARC and once found, click “Configure” on the tile. 

 

3.  Copy and paste your organisation API Key and click “Connect” 

    1. Your organisation API key can be acquired by contacting our Support Team. In the future the option to generate the Organisation API key will be available directly in our EasyDMARC dashboard.

 

 

After successful authentication, the next step is to map your existing Customers in Acronis with your Customers in EasyDMARC. 

  1. Go back to the Integrations menu in Acronis platform and switch to the Integrations in Use tab.

 

2.  Click “Configure” and select the Customer mapping tab in the next step.

 

3.  You should see the list of all Customers (Domain Groups) from EasyDMARC. Select the Customer on the list and click “Map to existing customer tenant”. 

 

4.  In the next step you should select from the list the existing customer in Acronis platform and click “Map”. 

 

 

5.  Repeat this process for mapping all the Customers you need.

 

 

Once you map all the customers, you can go to the dedicated EasyDMARC page available in the left main menu under Monitoring. It will list all the data for mapped Customers mentioned in the previous paragraph. You will also be able to access the EasyDMARC dashboard by clicking on the “ EasyDMARC Dashboard” button at the top of the page.
