What is a "Detected Source" found in the EasySPF?
A "Detected Source" in the EasySPF dashboard refers to entries that are automatically detected from your SPF record (if available) when you add your domain to our system. If you already have entries in your main SPF record, EasySPF will automatically detect those entries and add them to the dashboard, even if the feature hasn't been activated yet.
The term "Detected Source" means that we don't have specific information about that entry in our database. When EasySPF identifies a Microsoft 365 entry in your SPF record, it will automatically populate the dashboard with this information. Thanks to our comprehensive database, we will label this entry as "Microsoft 365" rather than the generic term "Detected Source".
However, you can edit the name of the source in the EasySPF dashboard to give it a custom name that helps you recognize it more easily.
