Follow the steps below to switch from the Managed DMARC setup to managing it through your DNS host.
Step 1: Remove the Managed DMARC Record
- Log in to your DNS provider.
- Delete the CNAME record with target value _dmarc.yourdomain._d.easydmarc.pro.
Step 2: Generate a New DMARC Record
- Log in to EasyDMARC.
- Navigate to Tools>DMARC>DMARC Generator
- Configure your desired DMARC settings and copy the generated TXT record.
Step 3: Add the New DMARC TXT Record
- Add a new TXT record in your DNS:
- Name: _dmarc
- Value: Paste the generated DMARC TXT record.
- Save changes.
Step 4: Verify the New Record
- Use EasyDMARC’s DMARC Lookup tool, to ensure the record is valid.
Note: DNS changes may take 24-48 hours to propagate. Regularly monitor DMARC reports for compliance.
