How can I switch the domain type from parked to sending, or vice versa?

In EasyDMARC, there are two types of domains based on their activity: sending and parked.
The number of sending domains you can have depends on your EasyDMARC product plan, while you can have unlimited parked domains on your account.
It’s important to note that in case any DMARC-compliant emails are sent from a parked domain, the domain type is automatically changed to “sending” by our system.

To switch a parked domain to "sending," go to the "All domains" or "Domain management" section, click the three dots next to the domain, and select "Change type.

Once clicked the “Change type” button, a pop up window will appear. Switch the type from “parked” to “sending” and click the “Update” button.

To change a domain's type from "sending" to "parked," follow the same process as described above.

However, if any DMARC-compliant emails were sent from the domain in the last 30 days, the system will prevent the change.

To prevent DMARC-compliant emails from being sent and securely configure SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records to protect parked domains from spoofing attacks, follow the instructions in this article.

Once the setup is done, you'll need to wait 30 days before switching the domain type to "parked”
