Connect your Google mailbox for white-label reporting in the EasyDMARC trust platform
Overview
EasyDMARC's white-label reporting feature allows you to send reports to your clients without EasyDMARC branding. By connecting your Google mailbox to EasyDMARC, you can use your own email domain to send reports and provide a more consistent, branded experience for your clients.
This guide explains how to connect your Google mailbox via SMTP and activate white-label reporting in the EasyDMARC Trust Platform.
Step 1: Connect Your Google Mailbox via SMTP to EasyDMARC
- First, generate an app password for your Google Account. Navigate to the Google Account associated with the mailbox you want to connect via SMTP.
- Select the Security and sign-in tab from the left-hand menu and open 2-Step Verification. If prompted, sign in to your Google Account again to proceed.
Note: 2-Step Verification must be enabled for your Google Account before you can generate an app password.
- Scroll down to App passwords. Click the arrow next to this option.

- Create a new app password by entering a name of your choice and clicking Create.

- Google will display a 16-character app password. Copy and save it securely, as you will need it to configure your SMTP connection. Make sure to store it before closing the window, as Google will not display the same password again.

-
After generating the app password, configure your mailbox to connect your Google account to EasyDMARC.
Log in to your EasyDMARC Trust Platform account and navigate to Insights & Alerting. Under the Reporting section, click the Mailbox Configuration button to connect your Google mailbox.
-
In the window that opens, select the Google card and fill in the required fields:
- Display Name: Enter a name to identify your mailbox configuration.
- Email Address: Enter the email address of the Google mailbox you want to connect.
- Application Password: Enter the app password you generated and copied in the previous step.
Click Connect to save your configuration.

-
Once the configuration has been saved successfully, a notification stating "Mailbox configuration saved successfully" will appear.

You have now successfully connected your Google mailbox to EasyDMARC via SMTP. In the next section, we'll explain how to activate white-label reporting.
Step 2: Activate White-Label Reporting
- In the Reporting section, click the three-dot menu next to the report you previously created and select Edit.

- Scroll down to the White label reports section and enable the option by toggling it on.
- Select My Domain and make sure your intended Google email address is displayed under the Connected Account section.
- Click Save to apply your changes.

White-label reporting is now enabled for your selected report, allowing you to send reports using your connected Google mailbox.
