ClickDimensions integration guide
ClickDimensions is an email marketing and marketing automation add-on built directly into Microsoft Dynamics 365, allowing sales and marketing teams to send campaigns, track engagement, and manage subscriber lists without leaving their CRM.
To integrate ClickDimensions with EasyDMARC, please check the steps below:
ClickDimensions stores its data inside your Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment, so this connection is set up by a Dynamics administrator using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
Prerequisites:
- You are a Global Administrator (or Dynamics 365 / Power Platform admin) in your Microsoft tenant.
- ClickDimensions is installed and actively sending email in your Dynamics environment.
- You can reach the Power Platform admin center.
Step 1 — Initiate Connection
1. Log in to EasyDMARC and go to Integrations.
2. Find the ClickDimensions card and click Connect.
Step 2 — Grant Access (Admin Consent)
1. EasyDMARC redirects you to Microsoft to sign in.
2. Review the read-access permission request and click Accept to grant admin consent.
- If you already connected Dynamics 365 to EasyDMARC, you can reuse the same application — skip to Step 4.
Step 3 — Provide Your Environment URL
1. Enter your Dynamics environment (org) URL, e.g. https://yourorg.crm.dynamics.com.
Step 4 — Create / Reuse the Application User
1. In the Power Platform admin center → your environment → Settings → Users + permissions → Application users, create (or reuse) the EasyDMARC app user.
2. Assign a read-only security role that includes the ClickDimensions tables (Email Send, Email Event, Sent Email).
Step 5 — Select Sending Domains & Finish
1. EasyDMARC detects your ClickDimensions Email Sending Domains and lists them.
2. Select the domains you want to track and click Finish Setup.
- If a new domain isn't visible yet, use Add Manually. Note that ClickDimensions sending-domain approval can take several days, so very recently added domains may not have been sent yet.
Your ClickDimensions data will begin syncing. EasyDMARC re-polls recent sends because ClickDimensions opens/clicks accrue for up to 30 days and delivery/bounce status can change for up to 72 hours after send.
